These baby led weaning sweetcorn drop scones are a delicious finger food for toddlers too!

Ingredients
  

  • 60 g sweetcorn pureed
  • 50 g whole wheat plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 50 ml milk

Instructions
 

  • Mix the flour and baking powder together, make a well in the centre and pour in the egg, beat with a balloon whisk, gradually adding the milk and then the pureed sweetcorn.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and drop dessert spoon fulls of the mixture and fry for about 2 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface and they are golden underneath.
  • Flip over and fry another 1-2 minutes.
