Porridge Bites

These porridge bites are a simple 3 ingredient snack for babies and toddlers and are an easy and delicious way of serving oats for baby led weaning

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons quick cook porridge oats
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • fruit of your choice - currently I'm using 4 blueberries and a strawberry cut into thirds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180˚C/350˚F
  • Mix the oats and milk together in a bowl and leave for ten minutes.
  • Drop teaspoons of the mixture into a lightly greased mini muffin tin - the mixture will still look pretty sloppy but don't worry, the oats will absorb the milk.
  • Place a piece of fruit on the top and press down slightly.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, until set. Cool for 5 minutes in the tin and then place the bites on a wire rack.
  • Store in an airtight container for a day or two.
